The Good Points
This is a very lightweight gun which makes it good for extended use.
The loading cartridge is very easy to access and operate.
Front Adjustable depth setting
Sturdy trigger
Small safety shoe reduces damaging materials
Drawbacks
Most of the product is made of materials to lighten the gun. Although this is a good thing for reducing muscle stress it can be a bad thing if you drop your gun. The head housing is made of magnesium which should hold up but like most other manufacturers the Nail Storage area is now Composite Plastic instead of steel. Steel can bend but composite will fracture so in the field you can be left with a useless gun instead of one you have to hit with a hammer or pry with a screwdriver to fix.
Brad Nailer Shootout Results
Overall this product is our winner
There are always drawbacks in every product but this guns price to function ratio makes it one of the tools you want in your toolbox. This time around Bostitch beat out our other guns by only a small margin we hope that if they lower their cost or add features next time that margin can be extended.
